Parliament's Justice Committee is asking for people to have their say on the End of Life Choice Bill until midnight Tuesday 20 February.
It's important to speak up: This Bill could allow even 18-year-olds with disabilities or depression to receive assisted suicide by deadly drugs (more details below).
We are providing resources to make it very easy to write.
Most people write when they watch a video or hear a short talk and then write a short message then and there.
Could you please make these forms available to your people this weekend?
At the links are forms in PDF to help people have their say in as little as 5 minutes:
Recommended extras:
They could also be dropped off at Reception, Parliament Buildings, Wellington or at points in Auckland and Hamilton by Monday the 19th.
Submissions can also be made via email or the online form until midnight on Tuesday 20 February.
Below is an email that could be forwarded to your networks.
Thanks very much for your support in helping people to have their say. Currently it is a numbers game!

In the Netherlands where they legalize euthanasia has some very negative effects on some people that have no control over in the making of such a decision over their love ones when it comes to the matters ending someones life. I hope by watching this video will share some lights on the subject, and help you in standing up to this idea of euthanasia. As a Christian we no that we don't own our life, but we are given life to manage it well, and if someone decided to end his or her life like that, we will face up to the consequence on the other side of life.
New Zealand has a very high rate of suicide compare to other developed countries in the world, euthanasia is a danger to NZ. |
