Life and Ministry

Pastor Mata and Jenville got married on the 30th of October 2024. Jenville is from Namibia, Africa, they met in South Africa, Johannesburg in one of Pastor Mata's ministry trip to Africa.
Now they both live and serve at Peria Church in Matamata Assembly of God as senior Pastor. This year is going to be a very challenging year for the Church as they are due to move to Australia this year. Pastor Mata has been serving in Peria Assembly of God for over thirteen years, and it has been very challenging time for him as we know that's how God works as He normally prepare someone for a greater task ahead. Pastor Mata has been to Australia twice for holidays, and he see Australia is a good launching pad for Missions for Asia, Middle East and Africa.
Mission is known as the heartbeat of God, He wants everyone to come to the knowledge of His son Jesus Christ, as we know that Jesus is the only hope for this broken world. We may not able to do everything we needed to do but if we are willing to do the very simple thing God requires of us then God will lead us into a greater things to do.
We all know the theme of God's work it is not with our own ability and power to achieve great things in the work of His Kingdom, just as the scripture says in
Zechariah 4:6 "It is not by might, nor by power
but by my Spirit Says the Lord".
